Question about updating the MUME wiki:
How much information should be allowed?
After taking... 12 years off from the game, I expected there to be a lot of info about it online. There were some things about the game that I vaguely remembered and I needed a refresher for, and I was surprised to see how tough it was to come across answers on the net.
I began to ask myself if this was a conscious decision on the part of players/gods to promote roleplaying, which is cool, but it can also be might frustrating. After 12 years, trying to remember how many ****** to give to Olly so that he will give you the ******** to the ***** ****** ***** wasn't working out for me. Even now I feel weird writing about it, hence the editing.
So, What if I wanted to write a wiki page about the situation mentioned above? Is that too much information? Should that kind of stuff remain hidden until revealed by another play in-game? It just really surprises me that no one has though to flesh out the wiki, and I can't believe that's the case.
Thoughts?
tl;dr Is everything in game fair to write about on the Wiki?
