MUD stands for Multi-User Dungeon, this is a text based role-playing game in wich multiple players from around the world interact with each other through commands wich are similar to natural language, being text based players have to read rooms, objects, events, other players characters and computer characters(NPC's) description, ambienting this virtual world in their imagination, it feels like playing inside the book itself

Don't be afraid to use MUMEs pre-made sets of base abilities thinking you will end up with a mediocre character for doing so.
